What’s in a name?
Sugar Tree is a reference to my roots, in the wild and wonderful Green Mountain State, where my family engaged in the time-honored tradition of tapping sugar maple trees. The process involved collecting and transporting sap to our sugar house, where it would be slowly boiled into the delightful essence of maple syrup. This name encapsulates two fundamental principles that I hold dear in the realm of healing:
Firstly, it symbolizes the exploration of our roots—delving into the people, places, and experiences that have shaped our perspectives and interactions with the world. Secondly, it signifies a profound connection with the natural world, emphasizing the importance of connecting to the land we inhabit.
Situated within the Boulder Healing Hub, Sugar Tree is a part of a dynamic community comprising various multidisciplinary practitioners, including body workers, functional medicine doctors, psychotherapists, and energy workers.
